Oppressed by Privilege / Privileged by Oppression ist ein kollektives Projekt, initiiert von Daniela Brugger und Vera Bruggmann
“Oppressed by Privilege / Privileged by Oppression are the names of the two bands performing – simultaneously.
The names of the two bands are concept, as previous to any rehearsals, the public was invited by an open call to submit texts in response to the respective band names. The two bands, used the submissions as the raw material to adapt and interpret musically and later present the result on stage for the first time in June 2017 during the Art Fair in Basel. The lyrics inspired by the band names, the music on the otherhand influenced by the lyrics.” [www.danielabrugger.ch]
